6' porch swing made out of red oak. All the wood is 1" thick making this a very sturdy swing. I kept the beauty of the red oak in its natural condition and finished it with 3 coats of Minwax interior/exterior urethane which will retard the effects of sunlight and mold. I sanded the swing between coats for a very smooth finish. The swing comes with all the hardware needed to hang it and will easily support several hundred pounds. Each seat plank has 10 deck screws holding it in place and should resist warping/cupping for years to come. There are no nails in this swing and no exposed screws anywhere.
