ChamblIss, Isakson don’t care about constituency

To the Editor:

Several weeks ago, I sent letters to Senators Chambliss and Isakson expressing my concern regarding the legal threat to the Harris Neck National Wildlife Reserve. Harris Neck is an important wading bird rookery on Georgia’s coast. Heron, egret, wood storks, anhingas, and many others nest there every spring. A group of people are attempting to shake down the federal government for supposed historical wrongs.

Neither of those rubberstampers designed to respond to me from their high, exalted positions. I suppose I am not wealthy enough to be counted among their constituents.
