Among the things the quiz taught Kiwanis members was the somewhat surprising fact that the most common cause of a power outage in Griffin is not weather but squirrels.
Likewise, club members learned that the largest portion of their property tax does not go to the city (8.6 mills) or the county (15.01 mills) but to the Griffin-Spalding County School System (19.06 mills).
