A new Family Dollar will be coming to the Tri-County Crossroads area.

The Spalding County Board of Commissioners approved the concept plan for a Family Dollar in the Tri-County Crossroads Overlay District. The store will be at 1628 Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway, “across from Ingle’s, next to McDonald’s and behind the bread store,” explained Community Development Director Chad Jacobs.

The project was approved with four variances including allowing parking between the building and the street, reduced sidewalk width, the parking lot setback and impervious parking above the minimum allowed.
