County OKs land use changes

The Spalding County Board of Commissioners approved three requested changes to the Future Land Use Map to accommodate two separate commercial developments.

The board unanimously approved two requested changes and the related rezoning requests for two tracts at Mailer Road and North Expressway. Randall Hendrix of Jonesboro asked to rezone two tracts totaling more than 16 acres to C-2 (industrial) so he can move and expand his current Jonesboro machine shop and its 10 jobs.
