While on the way to the location, police officers were given a lookout on the suspect — 34-year-old Lakeshia McCrary, of Griffin — who was walking along North Third Street toward East Tinsley Street.
According to a GPD incident report, police made contact with McCrary at the intersection of North Third Street and East Tinsley Street. Officers observed a small amount of blood on her hand, and after they confirmed her name, McCrary was detained and place in a patrol vehicle.
