The Griffin Police Department (GPD) on Thursday evening responded to a call in reference to a disorderly person at Taco Bell on West Taylor Street.

When officers arrived at the scene, they spoke to two witnesses who stated that, as they were eating at Taco Bell, they were approached by a person — later identified as 25-year-old James May, of Griffin — who began taunting them and initiating a fight. The two witnesses further stated that May began pouring a drink he had purchased on the floor and throwing it at a small group of patrons.
