The 13th Annual Chili Cook-Off by the Griffin Humane Society, which took place Saturday at The Pavilion on Aerodrome Way, drew more than 300 visitors.

The event marked once again the human society’s main fundraiser of the year and featured 21 teams competing for the honor of having prepared the best chili.

In the People’s Choice category, the Red Hot Chili Sisters emerged as the winner, with Petro South coming in second. The overall award, which was decided by five anonymous judges, went to the Griffin Fire Department.
