Contractors began work last month on the new Kroger at the Griffin Pavilion, which will include an 18-pump Kroger Fuel Center.

The retail development at Georgia Highway 16 and U.S. Highway 19/41 in Griffin, developed by The Sofran Group, includes the Lowe’s Home Center, O’Reilly Auto Parts and Wells Fargo bank in Phase I, completed in 2004. The final phase of the project will consist of a 94,000-square-foot Kroger grocery store with associated surface parking and the Kroger Fuel Center.
