All of the vacant lots picked up in the September and October tax sales in Crescent Village and Teamon Ridge has been redeemed, explained Land Bank Authority Executive Director John Joiner. This means the owners of the lots paid the back taxes plus 20 percent to get the land back.
Joiner said the Land Bank brought in more than $56,000, of which some $46,000 went to the Tax Commissioner for the back taxes owed, with a net profit for the Land Bank of $9.373.
