— My pet peeve: People shopping in discount, department and grocery stores laying onto or humped over shopping carts. It is an ugly sight to see people so lazy they cannot walk upright behind a shopping cart. Look around you next time you are shopping.

— Drive-by shootings, gangs, bomb threats, pizza delivery drivers robbed at gunpoint. Wow, within the next five to 10 years, Griffin will be just like Jonesboro and Riverdale ... a useless cesspool. It’s already happening in Lovejoy and Hampton. Sad, so sad.

— There have been many losers who have written in to My Two Cents, but the guy who is upset about not getting his free taco is the biggest loser of all.

— What is the “Spalding County Collaborative Authority for Families and Children Inc.”? They want $10,000 from the city of Griffin, but no one knows who they are? I’ve asked half a dozen people if they have ever heard of them and they haven’t. So why are they unknown? And why should taxpayer money be used to help finance this unknown corporation?

— It doesn’t matter if you’re American-born or a foreign terrorist. The simple fact is, all are Muslims. No political voice or secular people will ever convince true patriots that is wrong. Hundreds of thousands have been brutally murdered, including men, women and children, by face-hiding thugs. Why won’t people call it, what it is? Forget Sept. 11, 2001? “Never.”

— To the man who dressed as a bride and strolled around the Spalding High football field with a purse: I hope that God did not see what you were doing.
