• I hate this rock and roll foolishness. I always have and I always will.

• There used to be an old song called “There’ll Be No Hippies In Heaven.” We need more good songs like that, that tell it like it is.

• I get tired of all these buggies in the parking lot when I go to the store. Are these people so lazy that they can’t even put the buggies back where they should be?

• These drivers around here are stupid. They’ll barrel through the parking lots and then when they get on the road they either drive 20 or 120 mph. They don’t pay no attention to nothing. No wonder there’s so many wrecks in Griffin.

• Somebody is going to get killed on Taylor Street with the way they walk out into traffic. Don’t they know how to use the crosswalks?

• I love the show “Duck Dynasty.” It reminds me of my own family.

• Most of these “country” singers nowadays wouldn’t know a real country song if it came up to them and slapped them in the face.

• You can take the commissioner out of the hood but you can’t take the hood out of the commissioner.

• Griffin’s new slogan should be “Griffin: Awful and Decaying.”

• Obama needs to shut down these rich business owners. This country needs to start looking out for poor and working people rather than supporting these businesses and cooperations.

• These people who walk their dogs around town bother me. I don’t like dogs and I wish these people would keep their mangy dogs at home where they belong.

• Something needs to be done about taxes. My paycheck keeps getting smaller every year with the taxes and insurance going up. It’s getting to the point where a working man can’t get by.

• With all the reports on the GDN front page about the GPD having problems with people shooting, beating, robbing each other, does anyone see the common factor in nearly all of these reports?

• Again, Democrats show their true colors. Show me any clip of tea party people and there is “not” a scene of violence. Now show clips of occupy people or liberal unions and what do you have, violence. A Democrat cannot control themselves, the anger just explodes from them when they don’t get their way.

• Thank you thief who stole our food today to be picked up by our sanitation workers for our food pantry.
