• I wanted to lose weight so I went to the paint store. I heard I could get thinner there.

• When the cannibal showed up late to the luncheon, they gave him the cold shoulder.

• I really like my electrician because he knows what’s watt.

• Those who get too big for their britches will be exposed in the end.

• I keep hearing about “The Iron Lady” movie. Is that a sequel to “Iron Man”?

• I like reading the comments in My Two Cents from our local morons. Most of these people couldn’t find Georgia on a map of the United States.

• The average family in Griffin and Spalding County is paying at least $25 a month for SPLOST. We have more than one SPLOST, so do the math.

• Don’t you just love the “holier than thou” group that complains about articles in this column? If they weren’t such “idiots” they would not read this column and shut the “hell” up.

Why does the overpopulation of stupid people have a problem with the population of pets, I'm 52 yr old and I have had very little or any problems with animals at least a dog can't run you down in a speeding car or rob or shoot you.

Dismal, DISMAL turnout at the 1st Spalding Co. Animal Control extended hours adoption event. Spalding Co., you either support this effort by the AC personnel to make adopting animals easier or stop complaining & critizing AC, and, while your at it, SPAY or NEUTER your animals, stop adding to the pet overpopulation problem, you have no excuse. atlantahumane.org will spay/neuter your pet for $20.00, that's it, $20.00 and it includes rabies vax and microchip set up and appointment, they come to Griffin once a month.

First off I am not a dense person.. And about the facebook deal I wrote about it because one of the children (a 12 or 13 yr old) has as her occupation 'sleeping in your boyfriends bed' . Now you tell me what kind of JOB does that sound like. And further more My child Respects herself and others. Thank You.
