— I heard that a University of Georgia football player was declared academically ineligible for the team’s bowl game. This was news to me because I did not know that UGA football players had to meet any academic standards.

— I was happy to read that Meriwether County got another factory that will be hiring so many. It is also great to see the local organizations who worked with each other with a common desire for their county. I believe it would be great for Spalding County to have a nice industrial park with local organizations who have a desire to help us also.

— All of the NFL team executives must be pagans because they won’t give Tim Tebow, who is a Christian, a chance to play.

How did Meriwether County get this new industry without a shiny new airport?

Thats funny. Anyone else notice the million sq. foot Home Depot warehouse being built on hwy.155? Not an airport within 10 miles of it. Businesses building built left and right in Henry County....none near an airport.
