Mr. Dennis Morgan Adams, 61, of Jackson, died Nov. 18, 2012
Mr. Adams was born on Dec. 15, 1950 in Thomaston to the late Ezekiel and Frances Adams. He was formerly employed with Thomaston Mills where he worked in the personnel division and later worked with Caterpillar. Mr. Adams was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.
Survivors include his daughter Mrs. Kelly and Mike Wittenburg, of Macon; step-daughter Mrs. Nancy Day, of Thomaston; step-son Mr. Terry Huff of St. Louis, Mo.; sister Mrs. Gail and Laddie Fulcher of Thomaston; and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012 at 3 p.m. from the Chapel of Coggion Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at Coggins Funeral Home on Wednesday, Nov. 21 from 1-3 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to New Hope Baptist Church, 1165 Hannah’s Mill Road, Thomaston.

Mrs. Cornelia “Connie” Marshall Enyart, 97, of Concord, passed away Nov. 20, 2012.
She was born in Pike County to the late Jesse Lee Marshall and Tessie King Marshall. She moved to New Jersey when she was 18 and worked for Warner-Lambert Pharmaceutical Company for 22 years. She was also a beautician. In 1980, she returned to Concord. She was a long-time member of Friendship Presbyterian Church, and volunteer for the Red Cross blood drives until she was 92. She enjoyed gardening, working in her yard, and she loved flowers. In her younger years, she and her husband enjoyed traveling. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Clyde “My Honey” Enyart, her son, Tommy Enyart, and daughter-in-law, Kathleen Johnson.
She is survived by her son: Eugene A. Johnson of Concord; special niece: Virginia Oglesby of Molena; daughters-in-law: Frances Enyart of Union City and Carol Enyart of Zebulon; sisters: Tessie Kizis of Va. and Adeline Thorsen of New Jersey; five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, Nov. 23, at 3 p.m. in the Friendship Presbyterian Church in Concord with Pastor Bob Matthews officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may visit the family on Friday, from 2-3 p.m. at the church.
