LOCAL HOF CAR SHOW: The Southern Cruisers are sponsoring the Truett’s Car Show Oct .27 from 11 a.m.,-3 p.m., at Truett’s Grill, 1455 N. Expressway in Griffin to benefit the Griffin/Spalding Athletic Hall of Fame.

There will be free candy, a 50/50 drawing, prizes, contests and individuals can also dress up for Halloween. Admission is free but there is a registration fee of $10 for the cars.

SHS BASEBALL GOLF TOURNEY: The Spalding High Baseball Booster Club Fall Golf Tournament will be held 9 a.m., Oct. 20 at the Griffin City Golf Course.

Fee to enter the four-man scramble is $200 per team.

SPALDING HIGH TENNIS TOURNAMENT: The Spalding High boys and girls tennis teams are sponsoring a round-robin fund raiser where you can come and play alongside team members from 2-5 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 21 at the Spalding High tennis courts.

BASKETBALL REGISTRATION: The Spalding Basketball Association is holding registration for the upcoming season from 10 a.m., until 2 p.m., on Saturdays through Nov. 3.

Registration takes place at Volunteer Park on Oct. 6 and at Fairmont Park thereafter.
