To the editor: The Board of Directors and all of those who donate their time to the food pantry wish to thanks the community for its outpouring of support for the food pantry. To date, we have received approximately 6,500 pounds of food and over $12,000 in donations in two weeks. This is a great start toward making sure Five Loaves Two Fish Food Pantry will be able to continue to work for the benefit of the community.

We would like to especially thank Chick-Fil-a Dwarf House, Truett’s Grill, Magnolia Lanes, McIntosh Trail, Griffin Shrine Club, Montgomery Lodge No. 31, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Crosspointe Christian Academy, Journey Church, and Carl Pruett with FUN 101 for helping us get our names and mission into the community during this time. We would also thank our private donors of money and food. Also thanks to all of loyal ongoing supporters for going above the normal during these times.

Once again, thanks to our community for being willing to serve those who need help as continue through the current economic times.
