There is a big difference between possession and possession with intent to distribute.

Griffin Police made two recent arrests for marijuana possession. While both suspects were handcuffed and processed, one suspect was released from the police station while the other was transported to the Spalding County Jail.

The difference was how much of the green, leafy substance, which reportedly tested positive for marijuana, each was found with.

On Tuesday, police observed two males walking in the roadway at 4:52 p.m. in the area of Poplar and 14th streets, where the officer noted that there are sidewalks. The two were asked why they were walking in the road and reportedly could not give a good answer.
