Student enrollment at the UGA-Griffin Campus for the current fall semester has increased significantly compared to last fall.

According to Doris Christopher, assistant vice president for academic affairs and director of academic programs at UGA-Griffin, student enrollment on the local UGA campus is up 39 percent from a year ago.

“I had a goal to grow the campus by 20 percent during my first year as the new academic leader on the campus,” said Christopher. “Due to the hard work of the entire team - both in Griffin and Athens - we came close to doubling that originally projected goal.”
