Mrs. Prince was born Nov. 29, 1948, to the late Hugh D. Moore Sr. and the late Virginia Hoard Moore. Mrs. Prince was preceded in death by husband, Pete Prince; and sister, Cathy Moore. She retired from Taylor Street Middle School as a nutritionist.
Mrs. Prince is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Gina Prince; daughter and fiancé, Jenny Spear and Ellis Sands; grandchildren, Dylan and Maya Prince, Lexi Spear; sister, Jeri Ballard; brothers and sisters-in-law, Johnny and Deb Moore, Hugh D. Moore Jr., Keith and Debbie Moore; several nieces and nephews; her special school friends.
Funeral services for Mrs. Virginia “Paulette” Prince will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 27, 2010, in the chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. The Rev. Gene Middlebrooks and the Rev. Ed Harper will officiate. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit the family from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
