BARNESVILLE, Ga. — Jahmiya Clemons continued her torrid scoring pace this season, leading the Griffin High Lady Bears basketball team with 18 points in a 40-25 whipping of the Lamar County Lady Trojans Saturday night in non-region action on the road.

Griffin outscored Lamar County 15-2 in the first period and never looked back in improving to 4-2 overall.

The Lady Bears led 22-10 at the half and then led 29-17 heading into the fourth period.

Makenda Lindsey added 8 points for the Lady Bears and she was followed by Jamia Washington with 5 points and Otisha Perkins with 4.

The Lady Bears will be off until this Saturday, the start of the Carrollton Christmas Tournament.
