Lance Cpl. Christopher Blake Rodgers, United States Marine Corps, of Griffin, was killed in action Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2010, in the Helmand Province of Afghanistan. A wreath and a lone rose were placed at his memorial outside Haisten McCullough Funeral Home to mark the one-year anniversary of his death.
