Grant lets county add fall camp

Thanks to a $1,000 state grant, Spalding County will be able to hold a second fall break camp at Fairmont Park.

This week, Spalding County received $1,000 in grant funds from District Four Adolescent Health and Youth Development Program, which has made it possible to hold the second camp. The county had initially scaled the annual Fall Break Camp back to just 30 students at City Park because of state budget cuts.
