Celsey Middlebrooks scored two touchdowns, and Zion Berry, Draquavian Holland, Corbin Bronx and Cedarius Hastings added one each to lead the Spalding County Texans past the Spalding County Jets 40-6 Saturday in Piedmont Football League 11/12 Division action.

Bronx furthered his team’s cause with four extra points in a game the Texans led 13-0 at the end of the first quarter, 27-6 at the half and 33-6 heading into the fourth quarter

Janai Sewell scored to lead the Jets.

Matthew Lawson and Malik Crawford scored a TD each to lead the Canes past the Lions.

Eric Crawley scored a TD and Tyrone Turnipseed added an extra point to lead the Lions in a game that was scoreless at the half and the Lions led 7-6 heading into the fourth quarter.

Makell Rolley scored two extra points and Clark added another to further the Jackets’ cause in a game they led 12-0 at the end of the first quarter, 18-0 at the half and 32-0 going into the fourth quarter.
