By winning the opening-round playoff game, the Lions advance to the championship game Nov. 19 at Memorial Stadium in Griffin. On Nov. 19 the Lions will face this winner of this Saturday’s game between the Jasper County Hurricanes and Spalding County Jets.

9-10 Division
Panthers 26, Ravens 8:
Yesiah Clemons scored two touchdowns, and Jayquez Daniels and Eric Walker added one each to lift the Panthers past the Ravens. Jaiyden Allen kicked an extra point to further the Panthers’ cause in a game they led 12-8 at the end of the first quarter, 20-8 at halftime and 26-8 heading into the fourth quarter.
Kenneth Freeman scored a touchdown and an extra point to lead the Ravens against the Panthers.
Thomaston/Upson Seminoles 6, Jasper County White Hurricanes 0:
Win by forfeit.
Thomaston/Upson Bulldogs 14, Jasper County Purple Hurricanes 0:
C.J. Bridges scored a touchdown and DeVontae Skelton added an extra point to lead the Bulldogs past the ‘Canes.
Chiefs defeated Bills in 2OT:
Jacarlin Dennis, Rashaad Willis and Rashaad Reid scored a touchdown each to lead the Chiefs past the Bills in a game they won in double overtime. Micahel Webb kicked three extra points to further the Chiefs’ cause.
Jaden Jones scored two touchdowns and Demarius Henley added another to lead the Bills against the Chiefs. Teammate Jamoi Mayes kicked three extra points to further the Bills’ cause.
7-8 Division
Cowboys 25, Vikings 12:
Andrew Whitner and Camron McDowell scored two touchdown each to lift the Cowboys past the Vikings in this semifinal-round game and into the championship game Nov. 19 at Memorial Stadium. McDowell added an extra point to further the Cowboys’ cause.
Wesley Bentley and Ked ‘Tavious Smith scored a touchdown each to lead the Vikings against the Cowboys. Bentley also scored an extra point to further his team’s cause in a game they led 6-0 at the end of the fist quarter, 12-6 at the half and 25-6 heading into the fourth quarter.
Jaguars 26, Bengals 0:
Brandon Calloway scored three touchdowns and Prince Green added another to lift the Jaguars past the Bengals in this semifinal-round game and into the championship game Nov. 19 at Memorial Stadium. Green and Devin Sanford added an extra point each to further the Jaguars’ cause in a game where they led 7-0 at the end of the first quarter, 13-0 at the half and 20-0 heading into the fourth quarter.
5-6 Division
Gatos 14, Bulldogs 6:
Alfred Weems scored two touchdowns and two extra points to lift the Gators past the Bulldogs 14-6.
Demetrick Milner score a touchdown to lead the Bulldogs in a game that was scoreless at the half.
