Board approves SPLOST proposal

The Griffin-Spalding County Board of Education on Tuesday approved a recommendation from Superintendent Curtis Jones that will effectively ask for a fourth education Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (SPLOST) to be put on the ballot for the March 6, 2012, election.
