Work to continue Monday on North Hill Street crossing

The Georgia Department of Transportation announced that work will continue on the railroad crossing near North Hill Street and East Broadway at 9 a.m. Monday, Jan. 30, 2012. The work should be completed by 3 p.m. that same day. During construction the crossing will be closed and SR 155 will be detoured following the same route. The weather should not be an issue forecast is partly cloudy. The city of Griffin will have four officers on detail.
