Griffin Police are investigating a drive-by shooting that occurred Saturday night on West Slaton Avenue.

According to incident reports, police responded to the 1000 block of West Slaton Avenue and spoke with several residents who reported gunshots at about 9:48 p.m. Witnesses saw a black male wearing a red, hooded pull-over, possibly known as “Dre,” fire several shots with a handgun and leave in a tan Honda Accord.

No one was injured, but, according to police, three vehicles received damage. One vehicle was hit in the top rear, another vehicle was hit in the right rear quarter panel, and the right rear window was shattered in the third vehicle.
