Two teens were arrested Thursday morning for drug dealing following a traffic stop on Old Atlanta Road.

The teens, 16 and 19, each reportedly had within their reach packaged crack cocaine, with the 16-year-old also reportedly found with individually packed marijuana baggies on his person.

Griffin Police were observing traffic in the area of Old Atlanta Road and Tower Street when at 4:13 a.m. Thursday an officer observed a car pulling up to the stop sign and remaining stopped for an extended period of time, before making a slow turn in front of the officer. There was loud music coming from the vehicle, which the officer could hear from 200 feet away.

If you really want to do drug busts, why don't you sit in an unmarked car at City Park. All hours of the day--broad daylight. While children are playing.
