• The Griffin-Spalding County School System undoubtedly has flaws and needs improvement. However, comments and articles concerning the swimsuit comment by Dr. Jones have little or no relevance to improvement of our schools. Students see swimsuits all the time on vacations or even around their pools. Let’s hear constructive comments about our school system.
• The scum who steal flowers off graves should be prosecuted and burned in hell.
• So, it’s OK for Barack Obama to use a plane that costs $66,000 an hour to fly to make campaign speeches? This president has spent more time flying than trying to correct what is wrong with our country. The more he opens his mouth, the more he sticks his foot in it. If you don’t believe me, then you never read what he has done and what he wants to do to the U.S.
• I would bet that the My 2 Cents contributors and readers are also Ronda Rich readers.
• Is Ronda Rich single? I have a friend who would like to get a date with her.
• If Six Flags decides to expand, they could go to the industrial park.
• I want to congratulate a couple of sports teams. The girls’ basketball team at St. George’s Episcopal School won third place in the finals in Macon. The boys’ basketball team was undefeated during the season and won first place in the finals in Macon. The playing was amazing, but most importantly there was great sportsmanship and teamwork.
• I hear Sports Illustrated is considering coming to Spalding County for its next swimsuit edition.
• I think it makes perfect sense to spend $13,000 for signs to guide visitors to sites. There are so many sites in Griffin tourists would want to see, especially the General Griffin statue.
• I hear the school board is going to approve an official theme song — “Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie Yellow Polka Dot Bikini.”

Sort of like kindergarten rules.
