The Exchange Club of Griffin honored Dr. William King as Griffin’s Man of the Year Tuesday during a luncheon at the Griffin Country Club. King, 95, is the 58th Man of the Year named by the Exchange Club in a tradition that started in 1954 in an effort to recognize outstanding contributions by individuals making Spalding County a better place.
“This is a wonderful honor you bestowed on me,” said King, “and I thank you.”
