Gatling makes All-Forces team after tournament

Kanyatta “KeKe” Gatling, who was a center on the basketball team at Spalding High between 2001-05 and who later signed and played at Brewton Parker Christian College from 2005-09, is currently serving her country in the Navy where she plays on the Navy women’s basketball team.

The team won the Gold medal at the Armed Forces Women’s Basketball Championship Tournament on March 31 in Panama City, Fla. Later the same day, Gatling was chosen to play on the All-Force Team.

Gatling played under then Spalding High head coach Jared Griffis at SHS. She is the daughter of Donald and Angaline Gatling.
