Church group helping fix up a home

A Griffin resident is getting help from a group of teens from across the country in fixing up her house.

Resa Mitchell was looking for help repairing a stripped-out house she bought, and is now living in, and was put in contact with Catholic Heart Work Camp. The charity provides service projects for Catholic young people, usually in low-income areas.

The teen volunteers, usually rising high school seniors or those that have just graduated, fill in for volunteers during the summer, explained Gina Ulicny, one of the adult volunteers.
