The SCPRD’s free annual football camp was this week at Griffin City Park’s Watkins Field. Griffin High and Spalding High alternate sponsoring and staffing the camp every other year. The camp, for ages 7-12, was sponsored and run this year by Spalding High School staff and players. Campers learned and practiced football fundamentals during the three-day camp which concludes Wednesday.
