According to Sheriff the church on Futral Road was broken into and electronic equipment stolen from the church. The congregation of the church purchased equipment to replace the stolen equipment and the next day the church was broken into and that equipment was stolen as well.
“It’s the second time in two weeks,” said Children’s Church teacher Season Holmes. She said people coming in to set up for the vacation Bible school this past week found the back of the building open and the all brand new sound system stolen.
“Anyone who steals from God is pretty low,” Holmes said.
Holmes said besides the church, there was another house in the same area that also had electronic equipment stolen. “If anyone has seen anyone with new electronics,” she asked that they call the police.
Investigator’s with the Sheriff’s Office asking the same thing. They are seeking the help of those that live in the area, asking for anyone with any information that may lead to a suspect or suspects involved in the burglaries to please come forward and contact the Sheriff’s Office at 770-227-9406.
Any information will remain anonymous, said Sheriff Wendell Beam.
