JOSH PACE FREE BASKETBALL CAMP

Former Griffin High and Syracuse University basketball standout Josh Pace will conduct his Life/Skills Basketball Camp from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. July 27-28 at Griffin High School.

The camp, for ages 8 and up, will conduct registration from 8:30-9 a.m. A parent or guardian can also pre-register their camper by going to (www.bball2011.wix.com/jpace#!).

REHOBETH ROAD FOOTBALL

All 7th and 8th-grade football players should report to mandatory football practice on 6:30 p.m., Aug. 1 at the school. Practice will last until 8:30 p.m. You must have a completed athletic physical, have passed 6 out of 7 classes the previous semester, and paid the $50 assessment fee in order to practice.

Spalding High cross country practice will start 3 p.m. on Aug.6. Runners are to meet at the gym.

FUMC BASKETBALL CAMP

Griffin First United Methodist Church is offering a basketball camp from 9 a.m. until noon July 16-19.

SHOOTING SPORTS CAMPS

From July 16-20 in Mansfield, Ga., campers between the ages of 13-15 will spend five days at the Charlie Elliott Wildlife Center developing skills in shooting sports, fishing, birding, hiking and more.
