JOSH PACE FREE BASKETBALL CAMP
Former Griffin High and Syracuse University basketball standout Josh Pace will conduct his Life/Skills Basketball Camp from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. July 27-28 at Griffin High School.
The camp, for ages 8 and up, will conduct registration from 8:30-9 a.m. A parent or guardian can also pre-register their camper by going to (www.bball2011.wix.com/jpace#!).
REHOBETH ROAD FOOTBALL
All 7th and 8th-grade football players should report to mandatory football practice on 6:30 p.m., Aug. 1 at the school. Practice will last until 8:30 p.m. You must have a completed athletic physical, have passed 6 out of 7 classes the previous semester, and paid the $50 assessment fee in order to practice.
We are still holding voluntary workouts from 4-5:30 p.m., on: July 17, 19, 24, 26, 30 & 31. Players should bring cleats, tennis shoes, athletic shorts and t-shirt. For questions or more info, contact Coach Marty Shiver at Marty.Shiver@gscs.org.
SHS CROSS COUNTRY
Spalding High cross country practice will start 3 p.m. on Aug.6. Runners are to meet at the gym.
All runners need to get a physical. Go to the main office during business hours to pick up a form for a physical.

FUMC BASKETBALL CAMP
Griffin First United Methodist Church is offering a basketball camp from 9 a.m. until noon July 16-19.

SHOOTING SPORTS CAMPS
From July 16-20 in Mansfield, Ga., campers between the ages of 13-15 will spend five days at the Charlie Elliott Wildlife Center developing skills in shooting sports, fishing, birding, hiking and more.

The Griffin Bulldog Club will hold its annual banquet July 19 at the University of Georgia-Griffin Campus. Georgia Bulldogs play-by-play announcer Scott Howard will be the keynote speaker.

ADULT GATORS PRACTICE
All adults 19 and over who want to swim in the upcoming Griffin Gator Invitational will be able to practice at City Park Pool at 6:30 a.m. and at 7 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays until the Gator Invitational July 20-21 at City Park Pool.
