Just after midnight Thursday, the Griffin Police Department (GPD) responded to a call in reference to a fight in the area of Little Street and Spalding Street, according to a GPD incident report.

When police officers arrived at the scene, they made contact with two 24-year-old brothers who live on Little Street. The brothers stated that there was an altercation with their neighbor, a 31-year-old white male, who lives on Spalding Street.

According to the two brothers, whose stories were reportedly consistent, one brother was visiting the neighbor when a dispute arose over some music being recorded together. The one brother eventually went outside and told the neighbor to come outside, too, if he wanted to fight.
