The Griffin Police Department (GPD) responded to a call Sunday in reference to an accident near Experiment Street and Lyndon Avenue.

When police officers arrived at the scene, they made contact with a 27-year-old white male, whose silver Ford Crown Victoria had been struck from behind by a blue Cadillac, according to a GPD incident report.

The male stated to police that the Cadillac had gone through the chain link fence of a towing business on Experiment Street and was sitting across the road. Two black males wearing white T-shirts and blue jeans reportedly went out of the car and took off on foot.
