A traffic stop Tuesday at around 9:10 p.m. on Tower Street led to the arrest of two Griffin males, according to an incident report by the Griffin Police Department (GPD).

While on patrol, a GPD police officer observed a burgundy Chevy Blazer failing to maintain its lane and making contact with the grass on the passenger side of the vehicle. After he activated the lights of his patrol car, the vehicle pulled into the Walgreens parking lot on West McIntosh Road.

Police then identified the occupants of the vehicle — the 24-year-old driver Timothy Hall and the 33-year-old passenger Michael Perry. Both reportedly appeared very nervous and did not want to make eye contact with the officer. Another GPD officer was called to the scene to assist.
