— You called me an “idiot.” I don’t care if Kroger (a private company) builds a hundred stores in Griffin, as long as my tax money is not used to build them.

— I am a lifelong Georgia Tech fan and I am tired of my team never being as good as the Georgia Bulldogs. I think Tech needs to recruit some players who are also criminals, so that Tech can go to a good bowl game every year, just like Georgia.

— What’s another $23 million just lying around waiting to be spent? No wonder the federal government is going broke. Our own fellow Republican, Congressman Westmoreland, has some explaining to do. I guarantee you with the opportunity, Griffin and Spalding County government will find a way to spend it.

— The New York Jets are anti-Christian because they will not let Tim Tebow pass the football. Tim Tebow should be traded to another NFL team that accepts Christians.

— Someone stated in My Two Cents that Georgia would win the SEC and the national championship. In what? It won’t be in football because on Oct. 27 the Dawgs will be eaten up by a bunch of “Gators.”

— As for my favorite football team on the Flats in Atlanta, I think it’s time for a change.

— Mitt Romney is typical of rich people because they all hate poor people. Is it any surprise to hear some of the things he says?

— I’m so glad they added an orange stripe to tone down that new purple building on Taylor Street. Otherwise, it would have been garish.

— I get tired of people criticizing Obama. He can’t get anything done because of the Republicans. It’s all their fault this country is going down the drain because they only care about rich people and corporations, not the common man. The Republican Party needs to be banned.

— Fall is my favorite time of the year, but what I don’t like is Halloween. It’s straight from the devil and I think it’s a disgrace we let kids run around in these demonic costumes.

— My next-door neighbor got a dog and that makes me mad. My kids now want to go over to their yard to pet the dog and play with it and my neighbors encourage it. There needs to be a county ordinance about these kinds of things.
