One student was arrested Wednesday for allegedly selling prescription drugs at Spalding High School.

Spalding High Principal Derrell Jeffcoat said, “We handled it like we normally do with distribution cases. If caught, we usually press charges.”

Jeffcoat said the case was turned over to the Spalding County Sheriff’s Office.

“There were maybe three students involved, not 12,” Jeffcoat said, “one kid arrested.”
