Early voting begins Monday for the Nov. 6 presidential election.

For those registered to vote, advance (in-person) voting begins Monday and continues for three weeks, Mondays through Fridays, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., through Nov. 2. For those who want or need to vote early on a Saturday, the state-mandated advance voting Saturday will be Oct. 27, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Spalding County Elections Supervisor Terry Colling is encouraging people to vote early.

“We really want people to early vote,” Colling said, as this is a presidential election and a large turnout is expected.
