Jaden Jones, Octavious Grier, Michal Frow and Tyrese Hansbrooks each scored for the Lions on Saturday, helping them beat the Butts County Red Devils 34-6 in 11-12 Division Piedmont Football League action. Tray Strickland ran in 6 points for the Red Devils and Tylig Pate, Yeziah Clemons and Michael Fisk each scored their own point-after.

SATURDAY

11/12 Division

Jets 13, Texans 0

Emanuel McDowell and Desmond Kendrick scored for the Jets and Javis Johnson added an extra point to secure the shutout over the Texans.

9/10 Division

Thomaston-Upson Bulldogs 38, Panthers 0

Matthew Brooks, De’Marion Colbert, Xeavious Mathis, Wanya Johnson and Tanner Gilbert chipped in offensively for the dominant Bulldogs as they nixed the Panthers. They did most of their damage early in the game, scoring 22 points in the 1st quarter and 30 by half.

49ers 31, Ravens 0

Rockdrez Yarbrough, Jaquavous Copeland and Jamal Stephens scored in yet another shutout at Volunteer Park this past weekend. Ahmari Fendell added an extra point to help the effort in blanking the Ravens.

Thomaston-Upson Seminoles 32, Chiefs 8

Wesley Bentley and Milique Smith scored once and Jakaviyan Sealey twice for the Seminoles as they dominated on both ends of the ball. Jake Davis came up big for the victors, running in all 4 of their extra points. J’Vonante Clemens ran in the only touchdown and Shawn Smith the 2-point conversion for the Chiefs.

7/8 Division

Redskins 32, Thomaston-Upson Vikings 6

Dontavious Myles scored thrice to secure a win for the Redskins, along with a touchdown from Isaiah Trice, and 8 points from Austin Watson. Kelcey Rockemore did the only damage from the Vikings in the 2nd quarter.

Cowboys 8, Bengals 0

Senquavious Alsobrooks ran in a touchdown and Keymariah Penn forced a safety for the Cowboys as they blanked the Bengals in a defense-heavy game.

Colts 26, Thomaston-Upson Saints 6

Winfred Johnson led the Colts with 2 touchdowns, fronting a supporting cast of Ronshawn Johnson, Sincere Keith, Kameron Duffy and Gi’Zohn Mayes. De’travious Mathis ran in the only score for the Saints.

5/6 Division

Yellow Jackets 23, Gators 20

Curtavion Clark pulled through in the win for the Yellow Jackets, scoring 2 times to go along with touchdowns by Camorjay Fuller, Makell Rolley and Tony Simmons. Kenneth Stephens shined in the loss, scoring all 3 touchdowns in the second half and adding two extra points as well.

Volunteers 12, Tide 0

Donell Casey and Robert Henderson scored touchdowns for the Volunteers as they completed the fifth and final shutout of the day over the Tide.
