It’s not graverobbers and not copper thieves this time, but a break-in at the cemetery office. According to the police reports. someone broke in between 4:30 p.m., Wednesday and 7 a.m., Thursday.
Employees arrived at work to find someone had broken in the back door or back window of the building. Employees reported a desktop computer, two hand-held two-way radios, three cell phones and $6 missing.
Police reportedly checked with dispatch and found there was no call from the alarm company, An employee said she heard the beeping of the alarm when she arrived to unlock the door, but it was making a different sound than before.
