Dwaine Hollands, Rashaad Willis and Christopher Taylor scored for the Texans as they came through in a 20-6 win over the Butts County Red Devils #1 in 11/12 Division Piedmont Youth Football League action this past weekend. The Texans forced a safety in the 2nd quarter and Dee Johnson scored the only touchdown for the Red Devils in defeat.

Saturday

11/12 Division

Jets 18, Butts County Red Devils #2 0:

Amanuel McDowell, Damon Kendrick and Javis Johnson ran in TDs for the Jets, but it was their defense that came through by not allowing the Red Devils to put anything on the scoreboard.



9/10 Division

Thomaston-Upson Seminoles 27, Bills 26:

Milique Smith scored three times to edge out the Bills in a hard-fought game, leading the effort along with one TD from Kion Colbert and three extra points from Jake Davis. Camran McDowell scored 2 times, Teron Sanders and Jamir Reid once and Jamoi Mayes had 2 extra points to lead the strong push for the Bills all the way to the final whistle.



Chiefs 12, Panthers 6:

Jelani Copenny and Andrew Whitner both scored in the 1st quarter for the Chiefs, beating the Panthers despite Tristan Durham’s efforts to run one in during his second game in 4 days.



Thomaston-Upson Bulldogs 30, 49ers 0:

De’Marion Colbert scored 2 touchdown to lead the Bulldogs to the big victory. Xzavious Mathis and Wanya Johnson (1 TD each) and Jammes Gilbert (3 extra points) also contributed to the score.



Ravens 8, Chiefs 6:

Damon Clark scored for the Ravens and Andrew Whitner for the Chiefs, but it was a 4th-quarter safety which decided the game for the Ravens.



7/8 Division

Jaguars 19, Bengals 0:

Nazir Heflin ran in two for the Jaguars, and Jacob Hammonds score a touchdown and an extra point in a shutout victory over the Bengals.



Redskins 19, Colts 6:

Dontavious Mayes came through for the Redskins again, scoring 3 touchdowns to pull ahead of the Winfred Johnson-led Colts. Johnson scored the Colts’ TD and Austin Watson scored the only extra point of the game for the Redskins.



Cowboys 26, Thomaston-Upson Saints 0:

Jaleel Chambliss ran in three touchdowns for the Cowboys, along with 1 TD from Serqavious Alsobrooks and 1 extra point from Ja’Marcus Whitehead.



Jaguars 38, Thomaston-Upson Vikings 0:

Jacob Hammonds and Nazir Heflin each put 2 touchdowns on the board for the Jaguars, along with scores by Craig Wind and Naiyza Driver.



5/6 Division

Bulldogs 20, Tide 12:

Kywon Davis scored twice to lead the Bulldogs in a win over the Tide. Aquavian Sanders and Jahvon Tyler added to their lead, while Jordan and Joseph Parks ran in touchdowns for the Tide in the loss.



Yellow Jackets 21, Volunteers 6:

Cur’Tavion Clark ran in two touchdowns and Tony Simmons one for the Yellow Jackets as they beat the Volunteers. Ricordo Crowder, Trezdin Barkley and Camorjay Fuller added extra points for the Yellow Jackets and Robert Henderson III scored the only TD for the Volunteers.
