The Griffin Police Department (GPD) responded to Fairmont Homes on Quincy Avenue Saturday at about 11:15 p.m. in reference to an armed robbery that had already occurred.

When police officers arrived at the scene, they made contact with the victim - a 19-year-old male - who stated that he had received a ride home from a co-worker, and when he walked to his residence, he noticed three black males walking behind him.

According to a GPD incident report, the victim further stated that as he approached the back door of his residence, he felt a hard object on his back, with a male ordering him to “empty all your pockets.”
