Mr. Phillip Eugene Ennis

Mr. Phillip Eugene Ennis, age 57, passed away on Friday, February 22, 2013 at Sacred Journey Hospice in McDonough, Georgia.

Mr. Ennis was a veteran of the United States Army and had been a truck driver for Sims Auto Sales for many years.

Survivors include his wife, Wanda; children, Carmen (Anthony), Amy, Jessica, Phillip and Emily; grandchildren, Taven, Paris, Kobe, Claire, Taryn, Kallie, and Caleb; mother, Nellie Kittle (George); brothers, Kim Ennis, Rusty(Dawn) Ennis, Chevy(Belinda) Ennis and a sister, Belinda(Lee) Kell, all of Alabama.

Memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at 1:00pm (CST) at The Sanctuary, 2922 Highway 205 South Albertville, AL 35950 with Pastor Lonnie Craft officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family for Phillip’s Children College Fund.

Mrs. Carolyn Rebecca Blankenship, age 58 of Jenkinsburg, passed away on Tuesday, February 26, 2013.

Mrs. Blankenship was born in Atlanta, Georgia on September 25, 1954. She is preceded in death by her husband, John Ray Blankenship; son, John Todd Blankenship. Mrs. Blankenship was employed with Westbury Medical Care Home.

Survivors include her children, Rebecca Darlene Hatfield (Thomas), Michael Ray Blankenship (Paige), Michelle Lynn Blankenship; grandchildren, Carlos, Tristan, Chandler, Cameron, Bella, Emma, Sabrina; brother, Wayne Bell; mother-in-law, Laverne Blankenship, several nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Mrs. Carolyn Rebecca Blankenship will be on Friday, March 1, 2013 from 11:30am until 1:00pm at Conner-Westbury Funeral Home. Following the visitation, funeral services will be conducted in the chapel at 1:00pm. Interment will be at First Methodist Church Cemetery in Lone Oak, GA.
