Head-on collision

A wrecker collided with a Chevrolet Suburban driven by Justin Glanton Thursday afternoon on Vaughn Road near the intersection with West McIntosh Road. According to Spalding County Sheriff’s Office deputy David Gibson and Georgia State Patrol trooper William Schwab, the wrecker came around the curve too quickly, ran partly into the ditch, overcompensated, crossed into the other lane and collided head-on with Glanton’s vehicle. The wrecker’s driver, Travis Sollsberger, was unhurt, but Glanton was taken to Spalding Regional Medical Center for treatment.
