The Spalding High soccer teams’ matches scheduled for today against region foe Mary Persons have been moved from Memorial Stadium to Spalding High, due to the sloppy field conditions at Memorial Stadium thanks to the rain.

The Lady Jags will kickoff at 5:30 p.m. today and the boys will play at 7:30 p.m.

Another rainout: The Griffin Bears baseball team’s game against Union Grove Monday was rained out and at this time, no makeup date has been scheduled.

Griffin’s next game will be at region foe Ola Wednesday at 6 p.m.

HALL OF FAME GOLF TOURNEY: The second annual Griffin-Spalding Athletic Hall of Fame Golf Tourney presented by Allstar Amusement/ Quality LP Gas/ Sonny’s Ice is 9 a.m., Saturday, April 4 at the Griffin Country Club.

Tournament ($1,000 each), corporate ($500), cart ($300), hole ($100), long drive ($100), closest-to-the-pin ($100), hole-in-one, prize, team ($300) and individual sponsorships ($75) are available. TEN STAR ALL STAR BASKETBALL CAMP: Applications are now being evaluated for the Ten Star All-Star Summer Basketball Camp. The Ten Star All-Star Summer Basketball Camp is by invitation only.

Boys and girls ages 10 to 19 are eligible to apply. Past participants in this camp include NBA superstars Michael Jordan, Tim Duncan, Vince Carter, Jerry Stackhouse, Grant Hill and Antawn Jamison.

College basketball scholarships are possible for players selected to the All-American Team.

Camp locations include Gainesville, Ga.; Phoenix, Ariz.; Babson Park, Fla.; Champaign, Ill.; Glassboro, NJ; Ithaca, NY; Marietta, OH; Lebanon, Tenn.; Commerce, TX; and Blacksburg, Va.
