McDONOUGH, Ga. ” Two players matched their season best and another player shot his season best as the Spalding High golf team shot a season-best 153 Tuesday to win a three-way match 153-169-212 at The Cotton Fields Golf Club against Ola and Jackson.
Henry Mabbett (36) and Davin White (37) matched their previous season bests, while Byron Kenney (38) shot a new season best and the Spalding High golf team improved to 8-1 on the season.
Rounding out SHS’s lineup were: Caleb King (42), Marshall Voight (42) and Tyler Jones (45).
The Rusty Hudson-coached team Has now won three matches in a row, their lone loss coming two outing ago when they shot a 169 to finish second out of three teams at Callway Gardens.
The team’s previous low this season was a 161 shot March 10 at Griffin Country Club during a match against Eagle’s Landing.
